Frequently Asked Questions

Great question!
Only one person needs to complete the assessment for each match, but we allow multiple contacts the opportunity to receive the link and submit on behalf of the team if you prefer to share the responsibility from week to week. Once a coach clicks the link, we lock out the other staff to ensure we don't have duplicate assessments submitted for the same match. All team contacts will continue to receive reminders until someone completes it.
Make sure you huddle up with your staff before submitting to ensure you're including everyone's feedback.
If one of your staff accidentally starts an assessment and you want someone else to complete it, just email us at support@fairwhistle.com, and we can quickly reset it so the preferred staff member can complete it.

We offer two ways to complete an assessment:
1- No login needed! Just click the secure link in your e-mail and begin.
2- Log in, select the "competition surveys" tab, and find all incomplete assessments ready for you to start!
You'll need to log in if:
You already submitted the assessment, but realized you need to to submit additional key incidents
You want to continue discussions with the league from a previously submitted key incident

Think of feedback as important information about an official that you'd like documented (positive or constructive). All feedback submitted is being reviewed and used for educational purposes, but you will not get a response to these within the app.
A key incident is a description of an incident that you'd like the league to review and respond to you about (i.e. disputed call, missed call, league compliance concern, etc). When a key incident is submitted into FairWhistle's Key Incident Workflow, the league is alerted. When the league responds to your concern, you'll be alerted via email to login to view our comments. Once there is a resolution, the incident will be marked "resolved".

After answering the questions in each section, the last page of the assessment is a review page where you can make quick edits if you need to adjust any responses or ratings. After confirming everything looks good, you'll select "submit" at the bottom of the screen.
Immediately following a successful submission, you'll receive an email summary of your responses.
If you receive a reminder email days following the match, you have not successfully submitted the assessment.

If you have a coaching staff change or simply want someone else on staff to help complete assessments, email support@fairwhistle.com.
We can remove staff and add someone new. We'll just need their name, e-mail, and role.
